Brought the car today got what I thought are hids fitted with the washer system and I seem to remember from my last vec on turning the lights on should they not dip and return to test the range mine don't seem to move but no range warning on the dash is this normal or have I got a fault with my headlights and how do I check

They don't move on switch on ..

More to stop the adjusters from seizing, I guess.
It was reassuring in the Vectra to see the beam raise and then fall back down every time the lights were switched on, I was disappointed that even facelift Omegas don't do it...
