What a horrible scenario
You have my sympathy
If that were me I'd be looking for another lock up
No matter how good/trusted a mechanic you get
It's just not yourself
Best of luck mate :y

I used a so called trusted mechanic with my first Omega. Went horribly wrong. Well ok, that's a bit dramatic  8)
Ultimately it lead me here as I decided to have a go myself, and I haven't looked back. I'm sure some members mutter under their breath when they see me posting  ;) but there is so much help and advice freely given here that I'm no longer embarrassed  :D
I have no garage at my current house so everything is done on the drive, and usually in the rain! There is the Motor Gym here in Bangor where you can hire out a bay if you have a major job needing to be done indoors, or on a ramp.
All depends on what you need, but if I can help (or rather WE as in OOF) give me a shout  :y

Fair warning though, I'm no mechanic ;D

I know! I loved that lock up!  :'( At some point this year the cam belt is going to need changing and the water pump with it plus other jobs as always with an omega! So I'm just thinking of ways to get it done..cheers for advice!
