Thought these were only on HIDs? Projectors still have to use the adaptors, around a fiver from a motorfactors or the ferry  :y

Looks like its projectors too, I read the manual  ::)

Headlamps when driving abroad
The a symmetrical dipped beam increases
the field of vision on the passenger side of
the lane.
This causes glare for oncoming traffic if the
vehic le is driven in countries where traffic
drives on the opposite side of the road.
To avoid glare, switch both dipp ed b eam
headlamps to symmetric al dipped beam:

1. Open bonnet.
2. Remove headlamp protective cover: turn
rotating lock through 90° using a coin
and remove cover.
3. Remove the headlamp c ap. 4. Adjust lever shown in illustration:
Left-hand drive vehicles
Left-hand headlamp = Move lever
downwards
Right-hand headlamp = Move lever
upwards
Right-hand drive vehicles
Left-hand headlamp = Move lever
upwards
Right-hand headlamp = Move lever
downwards
5. Check light/dark limits of d ipped beam
(e.g. in front of a wall):
Horizontal = Symmetrical
Angled upwards = Asymmetrical
6. Place the headlamp cap in position and
close.
7. Refit the headlamp protective cover

Tunnie, your list missed the step where you discover that the plastic adjusters are broken. I'd only had the car a month and wondered why the lights were so ineffective.

Both my migs have adjusters. HID and projectors. This summer French and German police are going to come down hard on tourists that have not adjusted their headlights and are not carrying a minimum of 2 breathalysers.
I have noticed they are even checking as you come off the ferry. Lucky i just get waved on due to my French plates.

That report is exactly the opposite to reports in National newspapers. The newspapers just said the law was deferred till February 2013 to clear up something but would come back into force from March 31st 2013
