Sorry no, do feel for current customers. Every time this offer is posted internally, we always, always ask what about discounts for current customers. Free movies? Free HD? 2TB box upgrade or similar, but we struggle to get anywhere  :(

My half price multi room (2) and HD offers have just ended. Bit of a hike in my bill, nearly £100 a month now.

Suspect for your needs about same, although Sky's would be free for 9 months.

If your locked in and happy with what you get, no reason to change  :y

We are paying peanuts for talk talk tunnie at the minute and never had any issues but will shop around once its time to . Talk talk want to charge us for the new TV box as an existing customer  >:( although looking into it , it seems it will be a whole lot dearer than sky because you have to add on a lot of packages to get what we currently get from sky  ::) Wont bother with that from talk talk , seems a bit of a con  :-\

It is to do with the satellite degradation. They don't last forever and the current one is going down the pan faster than expected.

So the transmission is migrated to a different satellite with a narrower beam that is much less likely to splash over southern europe.

Sky doesn't have a licencve to broadcast outside the UK so technically anyone receiving is breaking the law. You would have thought they ought to have a licence to get more custmers and thus more revenue. I bet someone at Sky has already done the maths.

One ray of hope is that the Sky channels themselves (i.e. not BBC, ITV and CH4) might continue to be receivable.

Who knows, we may all have to read books or have BBQs!
