.....since 2008. Earlier in the day it looked like Bersani was going to win enough votes to form a coalition with Monti. The FTSE MIB was up over 3%. Now it's not so clear.....and down it goes, dragging the rest of Europe with it.

It's the Euro Exchange rate that bothers me. I run a small company and buy in Euros. My sales are long term with pricing fixed ages ago. Pound gets weaker, I lose cash. Before some smartie mentions it, No I can't buy "forward".

Few weeks ago interbank rate was up to around 1.25. Now hovering around 1.14. My prices were calculated at 1.18. I lose

Yep. I know, been through it all before. I remember Black Wednesday all too well.

I don't exactly cry when thing go the other way though    I wonder if my Eurozone suppliers will play the waiting game with me ?    Hmmmmm I think not.
