10 if it has cubs i cant do anything to it or thrm because its agenst the law to disturb them when they have cubs

no its not, just make sure you kill the vixen first then the cubs.
if you kill a cub first she will move the litter, but still come back to make a mess,
thats what i thought but the local wildlife bobby says not so i dont want to jepodise my gun licence  they are geting very ify about shotguns they take your licence away for the slitest misdomeaner down here  at the moment

If it hasn't got cubs at the moment, you'd best get on with it, as it soon will have!  ;)

How about just generally making life uncomfortable for it? Run the garden hose under the shed for 10 minutes or so just to make it's den wet, muddy and generally unpleasant? Jump up and down in the shed and generally make a din?  Basically be the neighbour from hell!! It may slope off to pastures new...  :-\

no steve they say unless its in distress or injurd they wont get involved  if i poison it or shoot it and dont kill it and it escapes they will charge me with causing an animal sufering so i told them to go take a long walk and goand f.o. and to prove it  the next words from them that if a fox was found dead wihin 10 mile radius from where i live and has been shot i would get a visit from the bobbys
the bobbys said they cant prove its you and they would not do anything anyway  plus they are veimin so they can be shot on site   he said there is too many of these self ritios idiots in the rspca whos goal in life is to get anybody who keeps animals done for somthing he said if you have to shoot it so be it but he would prefer that i trap it and take it away and shoot it in a field somwhere out of the village so thats fairenough

This is going to sound really daft but here goes....

Get in touch with your local zoo or wildlife park and get some lion or tiger poo.  Pee would be good as well but, given how its passed by the original owner, might be a challenge, then place it in various important places around your property as regularly as you can.  Apparantly its not too pongy to us but as the lions/tigers are much further up the feral scale than the foxes, m'sieu fox will decamp forthwith and find somewhere less atinted PDQ.

Or so i have heard..... :)

Lion Pee soaked straw certainly works with cats, but ONLY for a limited time .. ie until it rains ... or has stood in the sun (?) for a few days :( I guess that's why animals continually "mark" their territories, the effect is not that long lasting :(

Yes lion pee soaked straw does work as does lion, tiger, leopard poo,
As mentioned earlier peeing around the coup for a week or two does work sometimes, but. A fox will return to a source of food, once any animal finds easy food it will keep returning until
A..food has gone.
B..its driven awayby another,stronger
C..Death.
