Hi Rob,

Call Charles Warner parts dept on Outer Circle Drive in Lincoln. Kev is particularly helpful there. They do TC discount - but point that out at the point of enquiry just say Autobahnstormers if they ask which account. I'll pick then up for you and get any discount if you want.

Or probably easier to deal with Andy C who could post them to wherever is necessary.

Thanks - Rob

Car in question is a 3.2 btw.

That being the reason the gaskets are hewn from pure unobtainium, presumably?

I can't recall ever hearing of a 3.2 head gasket failure.. Worth checking the oil cooler before the old gaskets are disturbed? Or too late? ::)

Hi Kevin. They didn't fail. But the valves went 'bonk bonk bonk bonk bonk bonk' etc. Due to the fact that the mate ? (ex) who replaced the valves for me after the timing belt went, forgot to tighten up the bolts on the upper guide pulley backing plate. Hence the sha**ed pulleys, backing plate and tensioner pulley, not to mention the shiny new valves that had been in a month...  >:(

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.
