Well this is new.
« on: 11 March 2013, 11:02:23 »

Had a restless nights sleep. My arm kept bothering me by hurting/aching. Get up this morning to find I seem to have grown half an egg on my forearm over night. Now I broke this arm 6 years ago and had to have it plated on both bones. My new found egg half is right on one of the screws. It bloody hurts if you touch it. This is bad timing I'm meant to be having my foot operated on tomorrow. Bollix.  >:(

Grrr I feared that. I'm tempted to go straight to A&E after all the quack will send me straight for an X-Ray. I getting fed up being sliced and diced.  :(

Sounds like an infection or could be a reaction or inflation to something going on in there, Docs should be your first call, He may put you on some Anti's or send you off for a Xray, probably postpone your foot Op tomorrow I would have thought. Chin up.  ;)

Stuff the quack, straight to hospital now and get it sorted.
If it bursts it could cause all sorts of sh*t.

I had a similar thing on my elbow, which was caused by an infection.  :( A course of antibiotics cured it.  :y

Be interested to hear the outcome... I have a lump on my forearm that came up several years ago and gets quite itchy sometimes :-\ :-\

GP isn't interested in it though ::) ::)
