2.2cd auto running rough on start up.
« on: 13 March 2013, 21:19:17 »

My omega has started to splutter and have rubbish acceleration when started from cold. Once the car has heated a bit it runs as it should. I have noticed there is oil in the plugwells so need to change the rocker gasket. Could this oil be causing the rough running?

In a word, yes.

Worth getting the gasket done ASAP or risk causing problems with leads and coil pack.

Also, get the codes read.... being a 2.2, you can't do the pedal/paperclip method so a proper code reader is needed.
