Many hours sanding by hand and many blisters  ::) I remember sanding a Mk2 escort by hand many years ago with blisters for months on hands  ;D When hands were worn out i used a sanding disc on a drill but that was too rough  :(

unfortunately rotary sanders are not that succesful because with a small mistake they can dig the paint.. best is always hand.. may be I can use rotary sanders when removing old paint and primer.. :-\

trial  #5  :)   I think I have found the color I searched for.. but to be sure, I need to wait minimum 2 weeks for it to dry completely..

I painted the color 7-8 layers to control its red/purple content.. unfortunately still there is purple tone in low angles.. but I'm in the border of blue to turn green..next trials will be on the same color playing with effect white/pearlescent colors

if after few weeks this purple diminishes, I can use this color directly..

and here is the formula.. you can use if you wish.. all colors are standox..

I really would like to :)  and trust me I would try my best..  :y

but.. :-\

I have big problem with time.. I also need to paint my omega and it will take at least 40-50 days and I cant get permission from job more than 30 days :'(  besides I need to hire an empty garage as I dont have :(

ps: trial/test number 8 was painted with a 0.8 micron hvlp that I bought recently..  it paints very nicely and creates less orange peel shape even without paint cabin heat ???

pps: if you need I will pm you my latest mix ratios :y
