Considering what a mess the Coalition took on, and how money is, well very tight, I thought it was not a bad budget at all.

Help for those wishing to buy houses with 20% on new build price available in interest free loans.

Corporation tax being cut to 20%

3p petrol tax cancelled

3p duty rise on drink cancelled and reduced by 1p

£15 billion pounds for road, rail and general construction projects to be made available

Reductions in Employers National Insurance Contributions

.......and so on.

In the circumstances not bad at all :y :y

Thats great news. If you drink 10 000 pints a week then thats a save of £100  :y :y
