Normal GM Diff oil topped with a LSD additive, some on here have used a ready mixed version but never tried that myself. Have a look in the OpieOil sticky in Parts section. Cant link it as on the mobile. Chris.

BOA90LS from Opie is apparently suitable too. Additive already included. :y

yes - its a "straight-90", AND NOT A NORMAL DIFF OIL - use this and it will be fatally poisoned.

if a normal gear oil is used ( i.e a "hypoid" oil ) then the diff plates instantly get coated with the hypoid agent, which stops them working. There is no way to repair them - its a chemical change

I installed a used diff and after replacement was OK about 10miles, and then began to vibrate in curves
whether the cause of the oil? I put 0.75l Opel oil for diff and 0.25 l additives for LSD (specification from Autodata)
I now have another LSD diff and I'm afraid to put the same oil again. If it can damage the diff plates?
