Scrap cars are generally priced on weight.

The CAT's - Assuming original, will be worth quite a bit.  Aftermarket CAT's are worth a lot less.

Take the CAT's off and sell them separately.  get a few quotes before doing the deal though!

The 2.6/3.2 ones aren't worth a great deal, significantly less than 2.5/3.0 ones.

Agree'd, and Diesel CAT's are worth more than Petrol one's.  :y

Some get funny about you removing anything , one around here said if you take anything off we wont accept it  >:( One had the neck to say they wont take it unless it had mot  ::) even then only offered £100

dont know what part of ipswich you are but i run a few in now and again most have a few bits missing inc, doors.bonnets and cats never had a problem i use whip street near town centre .You will need ID and log book or some proof the car is yours to scrap.
