2. When?
3. Which member of this crew retired as a millionare? (No, it wasn't me!)

Gosh. I would really really like to win a prize so I am going to have a go.

Right now. I am thinking it was taken at an airfield quite recently (2012) . The retired as a millionaire fellow. I think I have his name but need to just check.  PM me the details of the prize please!

To throw everyone else off the scent my actual answers are.

It cannot be him, as he was a fighter pilot and by 1943 was firmly a guest of the Luftwaffe! ::) :D :D ;)

Could well be, but what is the aircraft that requires a crew of 10?

PS An early Shackleton with contra-turning propellers I saw on the Shackleton's based in Malta during the early 1960s, but by then they had wing tip tanks?

Sorry Lizzie, no prizes for the A/C which is a Mk2 Shack which did not have tip tanks, and was a tail wheel A/C. You saw a Mk3 which had a tricycle U/C and tip tanks. :y :y :y
