I have noticed, the last couple of nights, that the odd word in some posts is red with a double uderline, if you hover over the word there is an add behind it eg Facelift has an add for corkboard behind it? never seen this before, I am using a '3' mobile dongle.................

Sounds like you have some Adware or Virus on your PC Browser, downloaded some dodgy software lately and didn't pay attention unclicking the Install boxes?

Do a Anti sweep or restore.

Have had this a while back. Go to un install  programmes find the offender and remove then scan with your Anti Virus. If you Havent got it install spybot and run that as well.

There was me thinking we were dealing with a computer problem.

There are no Ads on OOF, and nor do we ever want their to be. We use other methods^* to fund the site.

Thus it does sound like a browser hijack.

To add, this is why we regularly turn down all requests to affiliate with insurance brokers, parts suppliers etc, who offer a commission to OOF (the organisation, not members).
