Hardly dare tell you we have three kitchens (two indoor and one outdoor for summer use) . Part of the house is for family and friends to stay in. 8)

Well, it lives again!  ;D

No one spotted i mentioned that originally i flooded the kitchen floor after putting it back together the first time  ::)

And the fault why it wouldnt fill with water, was coz the anti flood device was dripping in water  ;D

Took it off, dried it up best i could, stuck it back on and its at present doing a 35 min quick wash.

We shall see if the original fault has gone too......but i was surprised to see that the main pump is an induction motor, so any slight bit of crud stopping the vanes from starting to turn is gonna stop the pump dead.

I'll try a longer wash tonight to see what happens  :y

Call me old fashioned, but I have no such problems with my sink bowl and sponge.

If i didnt have a dishwasher, what would i do with about 20mugs, 10 dinner plates, 8 saucepans, 2 frying pans , etc ,etc  ;D

Ive had one for nearly 30 years, best thing since sliced bread........when they work  ::)

Oh and they're supposed to be more hygienic, because they wash at a hotter temp than you could keep your hands in  :y

Fear not Dave, if you spilt any I doubt it would have time to stain the carpet before it got hoovered up.
