I have just witnessed on BBC London news that Enid Blyton was accused of being a racist! Where are these people (BBC) going to end up?
It is well documented on this forum my views on the BBC and their left wing policies.
Their views should NOT be broadcast to the masses in this manner in my opinion. Someone in the echelons in the BBC higher up must have sanctioned it.

Actually that is very old news indeed and it has been known for decades that she had views that were, shall we say, very questionable about race, but she lived at a time when that was common.

The BBC are therefore touching on an old story, nothing more!

Enid Blyton's Noddy books were written in the '40's to early '60's and poor old noddy was accosted in the woods by Golliwogs later changed to Elves by the PC brigade. I reckon Enid was a forune teller

Judging individuals on their views/policies only in the context of their time, else expect to be surprised.

Btw, Noddy and Big Ears were 'just good friends', whereas Captain Pugwash and his crew were all a bit perverted, and as for that Magic Roundabout bunch... Well...
