If you keep pics of the damage pre repair, it helps when moving the car on in the future. Cat C or D is a fine line but car D does not go on the log book in my experience so if you can't get a log book I would guess it is a C.

Feeling a bit better about it all today  Amba :y

VIC is booked for next week  . .  so all being well should be able to start using it again . ;) ;) ;)

Oh !    Just gotta find the £££££'s to tax it  :( :( :(

Oh!  & a few more ££££££'s to fill it up ;D ;D ;D

Still keep thinking that Robseys  black 3.2 Elite would be  a good buy though  :-\ :-\ :-\

Sure it will all sort itself out,Al. :y

At the end of the day should you keep the car it won,t really matter too much what the log book says....if you move it on as long as all the documents are in place at the sorts of money these Omegas now fetch I also don,t think it would get more than a comment at sale time as most people that would be buying a 10  + year old car would understand the cost of repairs against value anyway. It was just that Fleabay Elite had no documentation in place which got me wary about parting with over a grand, athough I am quite sure it would have also been less of a problem

Dependant on your usage and requirments that Black 3.3 Elite looks a decent buy, only downside in my situation is that 190k would soon be 290k.  ;D
