« on: 12 April 2013, 09:53:22 »

i am looking at buying a new pair of 3.0 down pipes and cats for my 3.2 estate but all the online suppliers are saying that they cant sell them with out a valid vrm for legal reasons as any vehicle registered after a certain date must have a type approved part fitted ?

Do not buy new, get second hand off here. Pattern cats sound awful!

You'd have to be pretty dumb to fit pattern cats to an Omega. 2nd hand ones are better. Although 2nd hand 3.0l cats now are getting pretty old...   ...and I may have to get some more soon

Totally agree..don,t fit aftermarket unless you have absolutley no other option. >:(

I bought 2 and had then fitted for less than 2 months before pulling them off and selling for scrap..utter waste of money/effort :-[
