Hi

Have just replaced the lower wishbone bushes with poly-bushes, using the Turk method.

I now need (I believe) to get the geometry checked and re-aligned.

Can anyone recommend a place locally here in North Surrey/South London where I can get this done?

Many thanks.

If you have only changed the bushes, and it had decent bushes in last time it was set up, you will probably get away with it IME.

If you do decide to get it done, given your location, I'd take it to Wheels-In-Motion in Chesham. :y

Hi Kevin

Thanks for the info.

The bushes were the original (I have owned the car from new)...I have only changed them because they were getting very soft and the offside tyre has inside edge wear.

If I do get away with not having to have the geometry done, how will I know that if it is near enough OK? Will it be obvious i.e. pulling to the right or just feels unusual in some way?

Also any idea how much it will cost to have the geometry done?

Cheers.

If it's had shoulder wear and/or it hasn't been done in the last year or so, I'd get it done. Cheaper than a new set of tyres if it still wears them!

WIM have a special deal for OOF members. Not sure what the price is currently but give them a call and tell them you are an OOF member:
