HT Leads - New or Second hand?
« on: 16 April 2013, 20:23:58 »

I need to replace the leads on MotherTs 3.0, as one appears to have failed.

Question is, do I go new or second hand known good ones from here?  :-\

A readily available £40 part(s) that's a nuisance to change, makes a big difference to how it runs, and is a common fault?
Why would anyone even consider used?

To respond to the above, leads are easy to change & plenty of breakers here could supply known working ones. Not really a common fault, done 110k on these, so not that bad ;)

I did not know they were that cheap new, so always worth asking. I got a pair of DBW coil packs for £20 off here. Ten times that new as entwood found out...

Unfortunately my only 2 attempts at getting parts from them have both resulted in totally the wrong parts ....most recently ..when you order a radiator for a 3.2 auto with air con .. ... just why do they try and give you one which says on the invoice "2.5 manual" .... ??  :( especially as their own number plate search also says its a 3.2 auto !!
