Too much paperwork?
« on: 30 April 2013, 19:37:48 »

I see the idea has been put forward that prisoners should be made to earn the perks they currently enjoy, wearing their own clothes, access to T.V.,computer games etc.The detractors of this idea have said that this would involve too much paperwork to be a viable proposition!

I visited several prisons in the UK over the last few years for work

Currently in a number of prisons they have the latest print, and laminate equipment that would put most print rooms to shame

The idea is it provides training and development for the lags through learning new skills, and they earn from it... And what I find the most ironic is ALL the literature they print is for Police documents, paperwork, leaflets etc... ;D ;D ;D so the Police that put them there get some free printing  ;)

From what I understand since its implantation its proved a massive success  :)
