strange goings on in the elite
« on: 12 May 2013, 17:10:10 »

i was driving the elite today ,it was running as it should no warning lights everything working etc,, etc ,, i was using the built in sat nav
when all of a sudden,, the speedo stops working  , i loose the power steering , and the abs light and traction control light warning lights come on . >:( so i pulled over and started to scratch my head .i  turned off the car and then restarted it , [still the same >:(] so then i switched the nav to tuner and then back to nav . as soon as i switched it back to nav the warning lights went out and i got the power steering, back and the speedo started working again  :-\ :o ???   and its been ok since  anybody got any ideas

Have yours repaired , few days turnaound time. Ecu testing or BBA Reman. approx £130.  OR secondhand half or third the price but make sure it is off a similar car. Question then to ask yourself is how long might another secondhand one last?  Plenty of info on the site on how to do the fiddly job.
