Iv noticed a diesel smell the last few days just had a quick look and there is a small amount of diesel around no1 injector and its bubbling when the engines running
Is it possible to nip this up or will I make it worse can I replace the seal if it has one or is it a new injector

Rubber leak off pipe?

I had this exact same problem, it was bubbling from the head/injector interface and definitely not the leak off pipe.
When the engine is running you can see it coming out in micro bubbles just at the base looks like foam. If it was the leak off pipe it would just be a pool of diesel in the well and probably a lot more of it than with the injector leaking.
I ordered a new seal and that was fitted in my absence (had to go back to work) and all was fine.
I was told you could try just nipping it up but then you could be deforming the seal even more which might be OK at first but it will leak again eventually.

Sorry can't remember how much it was for the seal but probably just pennies.
