Sadly its one I know.....

There are three I know of:

DPI -Dots per inch - the traditional measurement.
CPI - Which has come about thanks to software being sued to accelerate the mouse cursor.

and

The 'Mickey', which is actually meaningless unless combined with the DPI figure as it only reports the number of dots moved on the screen (hence the Mickey x the DPI gives the true number of dots/pixels moved on the screen for a given distance with software interaction)

Oh I was right then  ;D   .....and im sadder than you Mark.....coz i reckon CPI is clicks per inch   ;D
