A long run
« on: 27 May 2013, 21:01:19 »

This coming Sunday we shall be setting off at daft o'clock from Scunny for a run to Farnham[Hampshire]to attend the christening of my first great grandchild.Kick off for the "do" is noon so we have to be there prior to this time.Been to Aldershot before but always in the XJ,however I've got that on SORN at present so it's the Migs turn to show what it can do on such a trip. The XJ returns 28mpg on such a journey[it's a 3.2 straight 6]so I'll be interested to see what the Mig comes in at.

Depends on speed, but a standard 80 cruise should also see 27 ish average.

I took the points. I didn't like the idea of some 'barely out of school' boys and girls telling me how irresponsible I'd been.

Cost me £60. >:(

A standard 80 cruise will see no points.

An indicated 80 will be 73-75 - well within the law, dontchafink?  ::)
