Hi folks...

I have had an update on Paul from Jane........I'll let you read it as sent to me,
You will see how Jane appreciates the concern of our membership.....


Hi Tony
Just an update for you. Pauls chest infection is still causing concern as they cannot seem to clear his chest although his temp was slightly lower. He is no longer on 100% oxygen, it is now down to 65% which is better. His blood pressure was over 200 but they seem to be able to keep it at around 140 so that was better news. They took him off the sedation today for 9 hours and he is now breathing on his own, but he does still have a vent. He is very twitchy and sweaty when he is off the sedation and does not seem to like it much.  His blood pressure and heart rate became very high again so he has been sedated again, but they have said they will take him off each day to see how he copes, and if they can get any response from him which sadly at the moment is not happening. I will keep you posted. I was overwhelmed by all the response and I know Paul for all his bluster would be very touched.
