Yeah, just use a flat blade screwdriver to prise it off (it might end-up down the road though) and use some pliers to pry it back in place.

Sorry one last question.... when I remove the two bolts so I can remove the caliper (7mm allen head I think) they come out and are like little shiny cylinders.... i'm presuming these are affectively the sliders and will need lubricating??

No they don't need lubricating as they slide in rubber sleeves

only need to remove the 1 sliding bolt and then tilt the caliper away from the disc
