Strange that pretty sure ive seen a few N and a P reg MFL with hid headlights  :-\ Unless someone converted them.

MY98 became available around October 1997, so R is the earliest.

Yep our old R reg Elite Estate was mfl spec - HIDs, steering wheel controls etc.
