« on: 21 June 2013, 21:45:04 »

Should a 2.2  petrol rad  fan, the one inside the engine bay , run all the time i.e starting from cold?

No! It should only kick in when the temperature reaches/exceeds 92-95deg. I reckon you have a sticking fan relay. IIRC, it is the big green one in the wedge shaped fuse box next to the Battery :-\

My fan's not on all the time but comes on fairly quickly and the temperature guage reads low. Temperature sensor maybe?
