cooper grease on exhaust?
« on: 24 June 2013, 19:28:20 »

iam a big fan of this stuff and whenever I take anything apart I reassemble using this.now my big old can split[okay I reversed over it]
so now its decanted into a different container.
so I have a lambda senser to remove that's being a right pig so when I get it out and the new one in I was going to coat the threads with copper grease but is this a good idea?
or does the heat make it no good?

It will be fine, ive used it for years on downpipe nuts and studs, and brakes get hotter than exsausts, and it stays on brake pads.
