I suppose it had to be the Chevette HS.at 19 years old, there weren't many cars I would have rather had at the time.
Next, the 24v Senator, my perfect car at the time apart from the inevitable rust, which killed it in the end as it always did with Sennies.
In an honourable 3rd place, my current Omega. Its been a great car nd I have enjoyed slowly upgrading it as and when I find the time.
It isn't finished yet.Still got to finish the Bose install, and change the rear bumper for one I have with parking sensors.
The thing that lets it down is the sluggish 2.5 engine.

D72NFC  Ex TVP sennie A ,

unbelievably fast, 5 speed manual , started out as a 3.0 12v , had a PMC 3.6 conversion lump added

pissed off no end of RS500 owners .....   ;)

followed by F177EBW, , Sennie B ,  better on motorways and Big A roads ,   but  a remains a very close second, the D reg Sennie A was more nimble on B roads....   both clocked over 150, and i drove both past 200K miles .

This one is my second.
The first was an utter piece of crap ex-work Astra van; I paid £250 3 days after it was MOT'd and with 6 months tax. It had done nearly 225k miles as the yard hack, so you can imagine its condition. I used it for nearly a year until I couldn't stand it any more, and sold it to my neighbour for £250. Geoff had it for over a year, and it was the only vehicle he never broke! I had to put an alternator on it, and changed the oil. Can't fault it for practicality, but man it was awful.
