Our dear friend Paul L
« on: 01 July 2013, 18:37:43 »

Sorry fellas, but I have to be the bearer of sad news to you.  :(
I have received a message from Jane, which is printed below......its self explanatory

Hi Tony & Christine
Very sad news I am afraid the doctors have decided that they cannot continue to treat Paul. Kings cannot treat Paul as he now has a number of infections in his organs and a lot of pressure in his brain. They cannot transport him to London as they feel he would not make the journey even if they could think of a way to get him there. They cannot put a shunt in because of the infection and that there is only a very slim chance he would survive the operation. People will be paying their last respects tomorrow and everything will be taken away wed I think and nature will take its course  :'( :'(

Thank you to everyone for their love and support

Jane & Paul

We're all hoping for the best! The prolonged nature doesn't help make it any easier I'm sure, but we all hope for good news this coming week.

I'm so sorry to hear this bad and sad news.  :'( :'( :'(

I'm thinking of you and Paul's family at this sad time and still hoping that Paul turns the corner and makes a full recovery.

This is so very, very sad. I must confess I've been half expecting news like this. Doesn't make it any easier to take.  :( :( :(
