Oh no. No no no. I must admit, I always thought he'd pull through this, then pop up on here one evening making us all laugh as he always did. What a lovely guy he was. Had the pleasure if his company a few times at meets. He will be so sorely missed.

Rest in piece Paul.

Love and condolences to Jane and family. Be strong.  :-*

The clue to the man was in his name... Lovejoy and although I never met him in person, I know he had buckets of both and it touched all around him.  :)

There was many a time amid the banter I thought to myself "I bet it would be a hilarious evening in the pub with Lovelength!"  Sadly, I'll never find out for sure, but I think that it would have been, as the sense of fun and laughter that was in Paul's character always barreled across cyberspace!  ;)

Jane, you have my deepest and sincerest sympathies and condolences for your huge loss and you will be in my thoughts.  :)

Rest in Peace my friend, Paul 'Luvvie' Lovejoy  :'( :'( :'(

This just made me think. There will be a lot of dog's wearing bikini's where he is now  :)

This picture will be something that will always remind of his presence and humour on here

I was one of the OOFers fortunate enough to meet Paul,Jane and of course the dog.As I mentioned in another thread, they came to see us on their way to Newent 2011 to collect some parts.Although they were pressed for time,we all sat in the garden on a nice sunny day and had a cuppa and a chat.
It was immediately obvious that they were both very genuinely nice pleasant people, and that Paul was a happy go lucky person, with a great sense of humour. This was despite the fact that he was struggling to find regular work at the time,so finances were tight.
I was pleased to see him mention not that long ago that work had really picked up and that the future looked a lot brighter.
He had bought a new van and iirc was going to buy (or had bought ?) a newer car.
We had talked via PM about meeting up at Brands Hatch later this year to watch British Superbikes.
It seems so cruel that just as life had started to go in the right direction, that this happened so suddenly.
Its still difficult to believe tbh,and of course for his wife and family it must be impossible to take in at all.
May Jane find the strength to cope and know that she wil always be welcome to join in on OOF in the future if she wishes to.
Rest in peace Paul. You will not be forgotten.

Never met Paul, but as people have said he did have a wicked sense of humour which was so obvious by his posting.
Sincere thoughts go to Jane and the rest of the family at their sad loss x x
