ive just fitted a prins system to the mv6, it is fitted behind the drivers bumper and was also in same location on doner car, really high up against chassis rail, keeps engine bay from getting cluttered and a very tidy way forward, on the elite it also has a prins and this one is beside air box and a pita when comes to working on it

Were they certified  :-\ strikes me as being a bit vulnerable there... where do the gas lines run?

No mate :y, meant the cars with it mounted in front of the wheel, behind the bumper. Would have thought any where in the crumple zone (especially outside the chassis rails) would have been a big no no :-\ Not to mention running the gas lines round the entire front suspension... it's bad enough not being able to run them behind the wheel arch liner past the vapour canister  :-\

I'm guessing this is aimed at me. Fair point. I planned to refit the system as I had removed from donor car. Ignorance on my part. Now better informed  :y

By way of update, removed the mounting bracket for the heater and moved the assembly out of the way, providing sufficient room for the vap. I did get a little carried away as the airbox was already removed, and you forget how much space it takes up. Anyway, think I have it in a suitable position and will trial fit tomorrow so I can start to measure out the pipe work, etc.

In relation to the heater unit, is it worth keeping? There may still be room for it in a slightly different position. And without examining too closely, I couldn't decide if the two pipes (one from bulkhead, and other from hbv) are the same size. That would be handy!

Same size pipes.

Remove it completely. It does very little.

Cool, thanks mate.
That means I can chop the one from the bulkhead and attach to the hbv.

Sorry, I mean when I remove the heater pump. Rather than have to join the two pipes together, I can use part of one  :y

And yes it does, thanks  :y
