F/S LSD
« on: 07 July 2013, 21:05:07 »

Hi

I am having an Omega clear out as the car has now gone, one of the parts I gathered in Jan was an LSD from a 3.0 manual plod, the diff ratio is 3.90

If it helps the X30XE plod it came off did 80mph at 3000rpm

Price £220 collection from Reading, I paid £250 for it as was worried it would be one of the last  :y

Its in my garage so doesn't have to be removed or anything  :y

Im guessing its a 3.7 Ratio.

3.0 Plod Manual with calibrated speedo in 5th gear -

3.7 LSD Diff at 70mph = 2550 rpm
3.9 LSD Diff at 70mph = 3000 rpm

And yes, getting very rare now, good working LSD for the Migs now are like Hens Teeth.  :y

3.9 it is then, which also gives a slightly quicker acceleration when fitted to a Manual. ;)
