to fail on a bulb that`s bad luck

I booked my  MOT  for 2 pm today, but dithered right up to last Sunday whether or not to fit my eternal exhaust sytem or not. So in 28 degree heat I bit the bullet & cut the old system off.

The eternal parts slotted together nicely but the middle sections are a bit weighty. The cat joint after 10 years was a tad grotty, but sealed up no probs. Surprised that the Flexi joint looked as good as it does.

So i`m thinking today, he can`t fail her on the exhaust. As far as i can determine the rest of the car is all original. so just maybe the suspension/ steering might let me down.

But she passed with one advisory : Front exhaust mount corroded.   :y
