Thing is, I don't use this card much - fuel, ISP, and Paypal really. Thats it.  I tend to use another card most of the time....

No unfortunately not.  Your card and PIN can be scanned with a Lebonese loop at any ATM, or simply your details can be gleaned by computer hackers monitoring your internet purchases.  Then of course there can be the dishonest retail staff who can scan your details when buying petrol, cigarettes, etc.

CC company were useless, rang them, they didn't even want to cancel the card, saying it would be inconvenient for me, yet I would remain liable for further unauthorised use.  Needless to say, a heated discussion took place, and card now blocked.

Your bank will cover everything.

Please tell me you reported it as soon as.

If you did, great, ti get the money back, daily calls to the first person you speak to. One person until it is resolved.

Absolutely correct. Very easy to get all the details you can see on card via a quick skim.  PIN slightly more difficult.

What made me notice this was the fact I rarely use it (so I will see transactions easily), and it was charged in euros.  I was in Belgium at the time of the 2nd transaction, but not the first, and didn't use this card anyway.  I wonder if its some scammer using it in small amounts in hope it goes undetected for a while?

Usual thing with these arsewipes, you cannot speak to anyone about it - they are faceless people, and everything by letters only.  Only people you can speak to are the call centre monkeys who can't help.

Was reported to them as soon as I saw on statement, though their lack of willingness to even cancel the card suggests to me that they will not decide in my favour  >:(
