This is a video of the effects of a big thunderstorm this afternoon in Caen, Northern France. :o :o

Need some rain though , me water butts are empty  :'( Storm clouds are gathering here and very humid at 28 deg .

Thunder storms mean only one thing in our household, One crazy German Shepherd he goes absolutely nuts hats them.  :y

There are flash flood warnings in place in south east Kentucky as well...

Must be summat in the air ::)

Loads of thunder & lighting rolling around .. but no flaming rain ... ground could really do with it .... :(

It's here!!! Dog been going nuts for the last hour which means I daren't sit down or my gentleman plumbs will get crushed by 25 kilos of flying scared staffie/mastiff woofer. No rain yet but plenty of fork lightening

bits and pieces of thunder with odd slashed of rain here, dogs in her usual mode of half asleep, had a loud clap a short while ago which made her sit up, but normal service resumed now !

We had thunder and a heavy downpour last night.

You missed out Mr E......rather poured down here a few miles away from you.....for about 15mins....came down so hard probably knocked all the flowers of the runner beans :(

Could see Swidnod getting it.... interesting black sky background to some impressive lightning ... but for all the noise and darkness .. still bone dry here ... :(

And we don't want too much loud thunder - the 'ealth and safety mob refused to allow film to go over some of the windows (aparrently falling glass is safer than kicking some rubble out of the way to put a ladder up), so a decent nearby crack of thunder, the windows will fall out.
