If there WAS a code 19, but isnt anymore......is it worth changing the crank sensor anyway?

Ljay will say yes for definate, and I'm inclinded to agree as its me that will  get the phone call asking for rescue  ;D
With 2 3.0l on the drive, and I bet they both take cheaper type sensor, I would keep a spare handy anyway.

Check it daily, see if it returns.
