Reverse Parking Sensor
« on: 30 July 2013, 11:10:32 »

Morning all, im having some trouble with the Reverse Parking Sensors. Every time i put the car in reverse gear on my Elite it makes either a continues beep noise, or a long beep every few seconds, this is when nothing is behind the car. Also getting closer to objects doesnt change the beep. I think i may need to replace the sensors and the problem will stop. But not too sure

Thanks for your help guys :D

I couldn't get to the bottom of my similar problem and so just disconnected the ecu. I think my issue is in the wiring looms but cannot be bothered to dig down into this. The ecu and sensors were fine.

Nigel aka  Entwood is the man with the test codes. If you look through some of his older posts he tells you what you pull out in wiring ..... spare wheel well area I think.  :-\

You've just missed him though, he set off on his holidays the other day.  ;)
