Thanks, it was my dads. It was a 100e pop he brought as a winter project a couple of years back then sold it to somebody who wanted the reg plate.
He's had a 1954 103e sit up and beg Popular for getting on for 20 years now that he found in a lock up in central London. It was a mess but he fully restored it and won a few awards with it. Rod brakes, 1172cc side valve engine, 3 speed with no synchro on first, vacuum wipers, wooden floor boards the lot.
He also has a mk1 Humber sceptre which he got a couple of years ago after an elderly chap approached him when he was on his yearly Sidevalve club holiday and said he had an old car in his garage be wanted to sell. Dad went and looked and found this Humber sceptre. 1965/C. Not a spot of rust and a fully documented 28k from new. The metallic blue paint was very flat and the carpets were falling apart so dad got these done properly and now has an 'as new' Humber in his garage.
