Hi all , ive put the top coat of paint and applied the lacquer to my boot spoiler but what im asking is do i need to do anything else 
Maybe ive read it wrong but have seen you can lightly sand the lacquer and mop/polish it
Oh and how long should i leave the lacquer to harden before i can handle it 
Emd, generally car paints after factory are left untouched with its original orange peel surface.. at least thats true for us mortals that can/cant buy "normal" cheap unused cars..
however, some paint shops use this technique as they wish to make their final finish to look more classy (orange peel removed) and clean and shiny ..
but there are some risks involved, for small parts with sharp corners its not improtant how many thick n layers you spray the paint and final laquer in those corners cant stay and leave a very tiny layer.. so during sanding and polishing you can easily remove this tiny layer and face with bare surface.. so I recommend you sand only the flat areas if there is any dust sticking.. and before that mask the sharp corners with 2-3 layers of masking tape
laquer driyng period depends on the environment temperature and the waiting times between application layers .. but if its not urgent 2 weeks will be more than enough
ps: actual drying times are few hours under proper conditions but still it can be wet inside and during sanding and polishing it can easily stick to your working material
