Insurance
« on: 19 August 2013, 23:09:57 »

Both mine and swmbo Insurance is due next month, so a visit to the Meerkat again.... :y :y

Me for the Jeep, Comp, Hire Car, Legal etc........211.96 or TPF&T £177.40 me only as she does not like the Jeep but could drive it on her comp cover anyway..... ;) ;)

Her for the Mig with me on, same spec, Comp £182.90 or TP&T £166.63..... :y :y

Some advantages to getting old............. :y

My current insurance renewal for me was £314 reduced from the £352 I paid last year, which was compared; as if....... ::) ::)

House and contents will stay with the same company.... :y

It's worth re-running the Jeep quote with SWMBO added Mike... Insurance is often cheaper with a second driver, especially when your spouse ;)

I'm not going to mention what I pay, living in London and using my Omega for business use with fairly high-ish mileage and a few points in the past. The figures so far here are almost peanuts by comparison  :(

If it makes you feel any better Rog my insurance currently runs in at about £4k, although that does include all my staff and liability cover! Motor is about £2.5k of it :o :o
