Happy Birthday, Tony. :y

No-one wished me a Happy Birthday last week and I managed to get through the day without getting the hump!!

Mind you, at my age, I do not wish to be reminded of birthdays!  ;) ;D

My dear dad1uk.....it is with deep regret that 'humping' is something that figures deep within my past memory :( I have done my bit as to keeping the human population going......and once swmbo realized what was causing it, the supply was turned off. :)
I am now in the time of life where separate bedrooms guarantee a goods night sleep, no listening to snoring, or fighting for the duvet....'humping' was torn from the dictionary years ago :(

BUT.......thanks for your wishes :y :y :y :y    and thankyou Nick :y :y :y :y :y :y

Sorry I missed yours Nick...was not around much last week. But Happy Birthday, mate, albeit belated :y
Maybe the forum should flag up these special events somehow :)

Younger people may not appreciate how it makes your day when you are older, to know you are not forgotten, and like your birthday as you did when you were younger.
Watching grandchildren get their miriads of pressies and cards leaves a small feeling of envy in us...not wanting to admit we are in the twilight years, but still wish to join in, especially as, in my case, my first grandchild was born on my birthday :y
