I can see the i pod being repaired.

Its just the return to sender i worry about..

Suppose you could always pick it up from the local cash converters.. for a price.

My daughter's iPod managed to find itself in a wash cycle (bizarre to see it tumbling around with all it's display on!). However, after retrieving it from the machine, it was apparently dead. I put it in a bowl of rice for a day, but was unable to get anything out of it.

Guffers suggested leaving it under rice in a sealed container for a couple of weeks.

Yesterday my daughter tried it and it burst into life, apparently none the worse for its brush with death! :o

Therice trick only works when it's a sealed conainer as it i not competing with the natural moisture in the air and focuses purely on the moisture in the device.  I'm glad it worked :y
