my mrs phoned me up tonight to say the oil light was comeing on so I said pop into a garage and buy 5 liters of semi synthetic oil.well I expected her to call in a spares shop but as she was near a main Vauxhall dealer she went in there.well they charged her 38 pounds for the privilege of some Vauxhall moter oil!!!
now iam looking at the can and it dosnt say semi synthetic on it so thinking shes been sold  the wrong stuff
so should it say semi synthetic on it?
oh yes and the worst bit,she had just had her nails done so she drove home without putting the oil in!!!

It would say semi synth on it. (what does it say?)

The dealers in Nottingham are the worst going, run and manned by children who have no clue, if you ever need anything give me a shout, probably got some semi here you could have (not a full can but enough for a top up plus some)

Oil light, on the dash or the display?

Dash = Pressure
Display = Level

Should say Semi Synthetic on it, £38? You pay about that (+vat) for 4x 5L bottles of 10/40 on trade club!

What does the invoice say?

Doesn't actually say "semi-synthetic" on main label - price about right for 5 lits GM ss 10/40W retail

I'd be explaining to her that the next thing her nails are going to be doing is an engine rebuild.

If you haven't opened it & have the receipt then return it and ask for a refund ...........
