I tried to watch it, but it pissed me off too quickly, both with the childish "realistic" phone camera shots, and the need that everyone was either blogging or arsebooking it.  I'm sure our society aren't that retarded. Besides, the internet infrastructure would have collapsed earlier anyway.

I thought it was quite good, but then I do like these docudrama Armageddon type programs.

Seems they borrowed lots of methods used in Threads and The War Game, alas, they could never reach the impact that they did.

It never ceases to amaze me how little holds society together and how weak it all is - Which is what Threads portrayed after a nuclear attack.

Lost count of the amount of times i've watched that.
Real eye opener imo

Just loved the line about going to stay with family in Lincolnshire because it will be safer there  ::) ;D ;D ;D

Not for a while now though, there was another one as well Can't remember the title -American based....... :-\ :-\

Threads, Michael comes running into the supermarket shouting to his Mum 'that they have started fighting' who? the Americans and the Russians' ...................and then it all kicks off.

I also seem to recall that they started fighting after getting involved in something going on in the Middle East....... :-X :-X

I think the official review stated that 'Threads' made 'The Day After' look like a tea party in the park.
