I'm afraid I said goodbye to the days when my car would stall at every junction when I sold my Morris Ital, and I'm not going back!

Ah, The Marina and Ital. Two superb handling cars that were designed as 'Drivers cars'  We really were the envy of the world back then. :)

Nurse! Time for Opti's meds again!

I'm sure there are oil tankers that are more responsive, and I bet they don't roll as much! I was forever cutting bits off the front mudflaps to stop them dragging!

So when you really need to air con, stuck in a frustrating hot traffic delay it's switched off!

because the ....................... (replace with any appropriate words) govt take 60% to %XXX taxes depending on the engine size (+vat+many other silly things) ..

so when the car buyer pays double (or more if bigger than 2 litre) the original price for a car , dont want to sell  and even second hand prices for luxury cars nearly %50 of initial cost after 10 years >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

and also dont let us buy from outside, or from foreigners or even parts (a long list of rules) :(  I learned to buy parts from abroad but had problems with customs.. :( :(

Just been to McDonald's for a burger for the lad, quite a queue there. Behind me was a small VW with start/stop. Every time we inched forward I could hear his engine (a small diesel) splutter i to life, only to stop again about three feet later. It must have done it 7 or 8 times while I was there.
Surely this cannot be good for the battery/starter?

I didn't think they allowed motor cars inside McDonalds..... :)

Wouldn't it have been better to park outside and then walk in?...... ::) ::) :)
It's a new-fangled, American thing Opti, a drive-through. Doubt it will have reached Lincolnshire yet.

It's only just got down to Wales, and they haven't quite got the idea yet . . .

Eh? Only time I've known a 3.2 'stall' is when the crank sensor waves goodbye to this world. Any idea what the issue is?

A grumpy LPG that I can guarantee will stall every morning whilst I slow down for the junction just outside the (ex) Bronnley Soap factory, about 0.75 miles from here.

I believe they called it 'quartic' at the time. ;D ;D ;D ;)

The 'sticky-backed' wood trim adds that touch of class. ::) ::) ;)
