offhand, i recall the following,  not necessarily in correct order...

Dad's cars

Moggy minor traveller
Mini
Maxi
Wolsey (land crab)
VW air cooled estate thingy
Citroen GS
Passat
Talbot Alpine
Granada 2.8 Ghia X , (at the time i learned to drive
Sierra estate
Montego 2.0Sri?  (same engine and stuff as the MG , but less flash no talky bits)
Mg 2.0 bollocky thing a bit like a Montego but not as good?   can;t recall the name offhand. don't want to either, it was rather horrid..... off set between pedals and wheel and seat gave me incredible backache ,    although i seem to recall TB had one he loved....    ;)
Mk 4 Escort Ghia
Citroen BX
Ford Focus
Another ford focus
guess what, another bloody focus.

Mum's cars
Mini
Pug 104
Pug 205
AX GT
Ax GTi
megane soft top
clit

she clearly likes french cars,  opps knows why

(actually those AX Gt's we're rather  brilliant....  drove a bit like a 4 wheel motorbike crossed with a mini ,    redline at something like 8.5k rpm,   would redline in 5th off the end of the 120mph ? speedo....  , not bad for a 1360 cc little 4 pot and very pointy squirty handling,   i loved it....  as a "fun car"  to go long side my Carlton A FL,  2.2 CDX,   "family car" ......   lent it to my sister , she wrote it off.......     backwards end over end in to a field,   totally not her fault (drink driver coming the other way)  but i was gutted.

That Renault 5 died following a conversation with a Mk5 Cortina Estate. Went summat like this...

Cortina stationary on the hard shoulder of the A3, just before the M25 junction, facing north.
Dad, driving the Renault, drove straight into the back of it at 70 ish.
Cortina ended up on the flyover, we finished up on the slip road.
The Cortina folded up banana shaped, with the dash collapsed on the occupants, Dad banged his head, but we all walked away, neither my brother or I had seatbelts on either, (not invented in '77 apparently), certainly not fitted.

Think he lost his licence for a spell, and looking back we were fooking lucky... wouldn't like to say if it was an accident, or not, with hindsight :-X

My folks had the usual collection of BL and Fords, but for a while my Dad drove round in a Moscovitch!!  :o  built like a tank it was!!!  ;D

At some point in the early '80's my old man acquired a Morris Minor with running gear and motor from a Dolomite Sprint (or was it a Dolomite Sprint with a Moggy body... ) which was great for burning up the boy racers in their XR3's !!!  ;D ;D ;D

Just remembered that the Moggy's headlining had been 'repaired' at some point with woodchip wallpaper and couple of coats of emulsion!!  ;D

Hmmm, thinking.

Triumph 1250 Herald (sold so mum and dad could buy a house)

Then no car for a few years

Then dad bought the Herald back, he and my uncle (a pro bodywork repairer) resprayed it (Gun metal blue), they ran out of paint before doing the roof so mixed some up, needless to say my motehr was not pleased with the black roof (both my dad and uncle were colour blind)

This was then repalced by 'OGO' which was a Renault 5 with the gearstick sticking out the dash, bought for peanuts as the timing chain had gone. Mum used to drive with her handbag hanging off the gearstick and let me change gear on it.

Then a Renault 11

A Mk2 Escort 1300, dad used to bring the dreggs from the fresh oil cans home to keep the oil topped up as it did an excellent impression of a 2 stroke.

Next was a 1600 Mk1 Cavalier, I recall my mum picking it up from the garage, paying cash and then whilst driving home moaning about its lack of go and what is that stupid light on the dash, needless to say when I let the handbrake off it shot off like a rocket. This didn;t have a staright panel on it as the previous owner was a headmaster who lived up a gated lane adn he used the bumpers to open and close the gates.

Somewhere in there was a Mini clubman, it only stayed 8 weeks (god mini's are crap)

Then there was a very orange Mk1 Astra 1200

Followed by a Brown Nova saloon which was uber cheap due to it being a snatch back.

Next was a 1200 Nova hatch in powder blue metallic followed by a 1200 Nova swing in red.

After this I left for Uni.

As dad was in the trade, the above were pretty much always bought as non runners or had issues

We only had one car as I grew up - certainly until I was in my mid teens.

It was a green Mk1 1.3 four door Ford Escort.

Scrapped as "beyond welding" in the mid 80's, but was bought by someone as a project and rebuilt.
The last time I saw it was at a car jumble thing at Murton, nr York. - that would have been late '90s

Cortina Mk1's (We were the only people in our remote hamlet with a car and my Dad had only had his first car a few days when he was called upon to ambulance next door to hospital after he had axed his foot badly. My Dad made him put it in a poly bag with elastic bands round to contain the blood!)
Anglia (donated to me as a student car when the garage took it in part exchange and my dad "bought " it back for £5 )
Escort and Capris.

Crystals (Ford dealer) did well out of our family!
